Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe broomii, commonly known as the Snake Aloe.
These are impressive broad-leaved, heavily toothed Aloes that form dense rosettes of green leaves edged with reddish-brown teeth. Mature plants are usually solitary, although older specimens may occasionally divide into a small group of rosettes.
Aloe broomii can reach around 5 feet tall including its flower spike and is especially known for one of the most unusual flowering displays in the Aloe genus.
Mature plants produce a long, dense, unbranched flower spike covered in overlapping bracts. The pale greenish-yellow flowers are mostly hidden behind the bracts, with only the stamens and stigmas extending outward when the flowers open.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A distinctive architectural species and a must-have Aloe for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
