Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe dorotheae, commonly known as the Sunset Aloe.
These are beautiful low-growing, clump-forming Aloes with glossy, toothed leaves that can change dramatically with growing conditions. The foliage may remain bright green in lighter conditions but develops spectacular orange, salmon, and deep red coloring in strong sun.
Mature plants generally stay around 6–12 inches tall while spreading outward through offsets to form colorful colonies around 1–2 feet across.
Aloe dorotheae produces attractive flower spikes with red to salmon-orange flowers, adding even more color above the already striking foliage.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A spectacular color-changing Aloe and a must-have for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
