Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe elgonica, commonly known as the Mt. Elgon Aloe.
These are beautiful branching, clump-forming Aloes with broad, glossy green leaves that can develop an attractive pink to reddish blush, especially under brighter growing conditions. The leaves are lined with prominent teeth, giving the plant a bold, architectural appearance.
As they mature, Aloe elgonica develops upright to spreading stems that branch from the base, eventually forming impressive dense clumps. Mature stems can reach around 3 feet or more.
Mature plants produce beautiful upright flower stalks with orange-red to red flowers, often becoming yellowish near the mouth.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. An uncommon Kenyan species from the Mount Elgon region and a must-have Aloe for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
