Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe fragilis.
These are beautiful compact, clump-forming Aloes native to northern Madagascar. They produce small rosettes of smooth, glossy dark-green leaves marked with attractive pale spots and edged with small white to reddish-brown teeth.
In strong sun, the foliage can develop a striking bright red blush, giving this species excellent seasonal color.
Aloe fragilis gradually produces offsets to form small clusters. Mature plants send up flower stalks reaching around 2 feet tall, carrying unusual tubular flowers that are red near the base and cream toward the tips with a green stripe.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. An uncommon Madagascar species and a must-have Aloe for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
