Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe glauca var. spinosior.
These are beautiful blue-gray, heavily toothed Aloes with thick, glaucous leaves and contrasting reddish-brown teeth along the margins. The cool blue coloration is a natural characteristic of this species and gives the plant an especially striking appearance.
Mature plants generally stay around 1–2 feet tall, forming a substantial rosette with a short stem. The spinosior form is especially valued for its strong, heavily armed appearance.
Mature plants produce tall, usually unbranched flower stalks reaching around 2–3 feet, carrying beautiful deep pink to salmon-orange flowers, sometimes with slightly greenish tips.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A beautiful South African Aloe with incredible blue-gray foliage and a must-have for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
