Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe globuligemma, commonly known as the Knob Aloe or Button Aloe.
These are beautiful gray-green, clump-forming Aloes with thick triangular leaves that curve inward before recurving near the tips. Mature plants generally stay around 16–24 inches tall and readily produce suckers, eventually forming impressive colonies of multiple rosettes.
Aloe globuligemma is especially known for its unusual flowering display. Mature plants produce highly branched flower stalks reaching around 3 feet tall, with several spreading to nearly horizontal branches.
The flowers begin as distinctive rounded dull-red buds, then open ivory-yellow and eventually mature to yellow, creating a beautiful multi-colored display on the same flower stalk.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A distinctive southern African species with one of the most unusual Aloe flower displays and a must-have for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
