Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe hardyi, commonly known as the Penge Aloe.
These are unusual pendant, cliff-growing Aloes with soft blue-green to pale-green leaves held in rosettes at the ends of hanging stems. Under dry conditions, the foliage can develop attractive reddish tones.
As they mature, Aloe hardyi develops long, naturally hanging stems that can reach around 5 feet long, making this species especially striking in raised containers, hanging displays, or anywhere its unusual growth habit can be appreciated.
Mature plants produce elegant flower stalks with beautiful orange-red flowers tipped with green, held above the hanging foliage.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A rare and highly distinctive South African cliff Aloe and a must-have for the serious collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
