Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 4-6 inch Aloe humilis, commonly known as the Spider Aloe.
These are beautiful compact, heavily textured Aloes with pale blue-green to gray-green leaves covered in distinctive soft white prickles and raised bumps. The small rosettes stay tight and low to the ground, giving the plant a very unusual armored appearance.
Aloe humilis is naturally stemless and strongly clump-forming, readily producing pups to create dense colonies of multiple rosettes. Individual rosettes generally stay only around 5–8 inches across, making this a great species for collectors who enjoy compact Aloes.
Mature plants produce upright flower spikes around 12–14 inches tall, carrying beautiful bright orange-red tubular flowers that are especially large compared with the size of the plant.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A distinctive dwarf Aloe and a must-have for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
