Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe macrosiphon.
These are impressive large, spotted, clump-forming Aloes with glossy dark-green leaves marked with elongated white to pale-green spots and lined with strong brown-tipped marginal teeth.
Aloe macrosiphon is naturally stemless and produces pups, eventually developing into large, dense groups. Mature rosettes can reach around 4 feet across, with individual leaves growing over 2 feet long.
Under strong sun and drier conditions, the dark-green foliage can also develop attractive reddish to reddish-brown coloring.
Mature plants produce spectacular branched flower stalks reaching around 5 feet tall, carrying dense clusters of red to reddish-pink tubular flowers that transition to yellow toward the tips.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. An impressive East African species and a must-have Aloe for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
