Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe maculata, commonly known as the Soap Aloe or Spotted Aloe.
These are beautiful broad-leaved, spotted Aloes with thick triangular green to blue-green leaves marked with distinctive pale spots and lined with strong marginal teeth.
Aloe maculata is generally stemless and strongly clump-forming, producing pups from the base and surrounding root zone. Mature plants commonly reach around 18 inches tall and about 2 feet wide, eventually forming impressive colonies of multiple rosettes.
One of the most distinctive features of this species is its flowering display. Mature plants produce branched flower stalks topped with characteristic flat-topped flower clusters. Flower color can vary considerably, ranging from pink and orange to red or yellow.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A classic spotted Aloe with a beautiful clumping habit and a must-have for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
