Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe peglerae.
These are incredible compact, heavily armed Aloes with beautiful blue-gray foliage arranged in a dense rosette. The leaves curve strongly inward and are lined with prominent reddish-brown teeth, with additional spines running along portions of the leaf surfaces.
Aloe peglerae is generally stemless and usually solitary, although mature plants may occasionally form small groups. Plants stay relatively compact, reaching around 14–18 inches tall, making this an especially striking species for collectors.
Mature plants produce a dense, usually unbranched flower spike. The buds begin magenta-red to dull red, then open into greenish-cream flowers with striking deep-purple stamens, creating one of the more unusual flowering displays among Aloes.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A rare and highly distinctive South African species and a must-have Aloe for the serious collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
