Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe pendens.
These are unusual narrow-leaved, pendant-growing Aloes native to the mountains of Yemen. They produce slender light-green leaves along graceful stems that may grow upright at first before naturally arching or hanging as the plant matures.
Aloe pendens branches freely from the base and can also produce underground shoots, gradually developing into a dense cluster of multiple stems. Individual stems can reach around 8 inches long, giving mature plants a beautiful cascading appearance.
Mature plants produce elegant, usually unbranched flower stalks carrying distinctive lemon-yellow tubular flowers with pale-green striping and greenish tips.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. An uncommon Arabian cliff-growing Aloe with a unique hanging growth habit and a must-have for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
