Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe ribauensis.
These are impressive tree-forming Aloes native to northern Mozambique. They produce dense rosettes of long, tapering green leaves that gracefully curve backward and are lined with distinctive hooked marginal teeth.
As it matures, Aloe ribauensis develops an upright trunk and can eventually reach around 6–10 feet tall, creating a bold architectural specimen.
One of the most remarkable features of this species is its flowering habit. Instead of growing straight upward, the flower stalks arch and curve dramatically downward, carrying extremely dense clusters of beautiful deep orange to red flowers.
The flower spikes also develop an unusual tuft of sterile bracts at the tip, giving Aloe ribauensis a flowering display unlike almost any other Aloe.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A rare and unusual Mozambique species and a must-have Aloe for the serious collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
