Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe × spinosissima, commonly known as the Spider Aloe.
These are beautiful compact, heavily clumping hybrid Aloes with thick gray-green leaves covered with prominent teeth and small raised spines, giving the foliage a rugged, textured appearance.
Aloe × spinosissima is a hybrid of Aloe arborescens × Aloe humilis, combining the branching and vigorous growth of A. arborescens with the compact, heavily textured character of A. humilis.
Mature plants readily produce pups and can develop into dense colonies around 2–3 feet tall and several feet across.
During the cooler months, mature plants produce numerous upright flower stalks topped with beautiful bright orange-red to red tubular flowers.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A vigorous, highly textured Aloe hybrid and a must-have for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
