Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe suprafoliata, commonly known as the Book Aloe.
These are beautiful blue-green, architectural Aloes with one of the most unusual growth habits in the genus. Young plants arrange their leaves in two perfectly stacked rows, giving them the appearance of an open book. As the plant matures, the foliage gradually transitions into a traditional rosette.
Aloe suprafoliata generally remains stemless or very short-stemmed, with mature plants reaching around 20–24 inches tall. The leaves can grow to around 16 inches long and may develop attractive reddish-brown tones during dry or cool conditions.
Mature plants can produce several tall, unbranched flower stalks at once, reaching around 3 feet tall, with spectacular bright pink to scarlet-red tubular flowers.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A highly distinctive South African species with an incredible changing growth habit and a must-have Aloe for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
