Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe thraskii, commonly known as the Dune Aloe.
These are impressive large, single-stemmed Aloes with long gray-green leaves that are deeply channeled and arch dramatically downward, creating a bold, flowing rosette.
As it matures, Aloe thraskii develops a strong upright trunk and can eventually reach around 10 feet tall. Older leaves remain around the lower trunk, giving mature plants a rugged, architectural appearance.
Mature plants produce spectacular, highly branched flower stalks with dense cylindrical clusters of lemon-yellow to pale orange flowers with green tips. Bright orange stamens extend beyond the flowers, adding even more color to the display.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A spectacular coastal South African Aloe and a must-have for the serious collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
