Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe turkanensis.
These are beautiful large-leaved, clump-forming Aloes native to Kenya and Uganda. They produce long, pale blue-green leaves marked with attractive elongated white spots and lined with sharp, brown-tipped marginal teeth.
Aloe turkanensis develops a naturally sprawling, branching growth habit, producing new growth from the base and eventually forming substantial colonies. Mature stems can reach around 2 feet long, while the leaves themselves may grow over 2 feet long.
Mature plants produce impressive, highly branched flower stalks reaching around 3 feet tall, carrying dense clusters of beautiful red to orange-red tubular flowers with darker grayish tips.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. An uncommon East African Aloe with a bold growth habit and a must-have for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
