Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe wickensii, commonly known as Wickens’ Aloe.
These are impressive large, stemless rosette-forming Aloes with long, pale blue-green to glaucous-green leaves that curve inward and are lined with small dark-brown teeth.
Aloe wickensii generally forms a dense, mostly solitary rosette reaching around 2–3 feet tall and 2–4 feet wide, giving mature plants a bold architectural appearance.
One of the most spectacular features of this species is its flowering display. Mature plants produce branched flower stalks reaching up to around 5 feet tall. The flowers begin as dark reddish buds, transition through greenish-yellow, and finally open bright lemon-yellow, creating a beautiful two-toned display.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A striking South African species with an incredible winter flowering display and a must-have Aloe for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
