Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe pratensis, commonly known as the Meadow Aloe.
These are beautiful compact, heavily armed Aloes with blue-gray to glaucous foliage and strong reddish-brown teeth along the leaf margins. A few additional spines may also appear across the leaf surfaces, giving mature plants a distinctive rugged appearance.
Aloe pratensis is naturally stemless and generally stays compact, with mature rosettes reaching around 6–10 inches across. Plants may remain solitary or produce pups from the base to form small groups of multiple rosettes.
Mature plants produce upright, usually unbranched flower stalks reaching around 20–24 inches tall, topped with dense clusters of beautiful rose-red tubular flowers.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. A distinctive compact South African species and a must-have Aloe for the collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
