Hi! It’s Jesse. We are offering a 1-gallon Aloe polyphylla, commonly known as the Spiral Aloe.
These are incredible stemless, spiral-forming Aloes native to the high mountains of Lesotho. As the plant matures, its blue-gray to gray-green leaves arrange themselves into a nearly perfect geometric spiral that can turn either clockwise or counterclockwise.
Aloe polyphylla is generally solitary rather than a freely pupping Aloe. Mature plants can eventually form spectacular rosettes around 2–3 feet across, filled with dozens of tightly arranged leaves.
Mature plants produce strong, branched flower stalks carrying beautiful red to salmon-pink flowers, with yellow-flowering plants occurring much more rarely.
This one is already getting some nice size and is in pristine condition. One of the most recognizable and highly sought-after Aloe species and a must-have for the serious collector. These are flowering-age Aloes.
You will receive the actual Aloe pictured or a similar Aloe.
Aloes will be mailed bare root.
Thank you,
Little Garden Gemz
